Question: How can I encourage my baby to eat healthily?
Answer: Remember to only start your baby on solids when they are around 6 months old, and only in small quantities. Try to make fruit and vegetables fun, using bright colours, and chopping them into shapes that your baby can hold, eg. sticks. Avoid sugary drinks including fruit juice, stick to milk and water for as long as possible. Add variety to their diet, including fish, spinach and beans as well as vegetables like broccoli that are not so sweet. This will help them become adventurous. Try to set a good example by eating healthily yourself, as in the end, your child will likely end up with eating habits just like you.
